Cookie policy
What we store on your device, what it is for, and how to change your mind.
Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. This site uses as little as possible: we don’t use analytics or advertising cookies, and third-party tools only load once you agree.
What we store ourselves
We store one thing on your device: your cookie choice (in your browser’s local storage, under the name gw_cookie_consent), so we don’t ask you again on every page. It doesn’t identify you, and it stays until you clear your browser data or change your choice.
Third-party tools
Two pages include tools provided by other companies. They only load once you have accepted them, using “Accept all” or the “Third-party tools” setting in our cookie controls:
- Heat pump estimate tool (heat pumps page), provided by Spruce
- Map of the area we cover (contact page), provided by Google Maps
Once loaded, these tools may set their own cookies, and their own privacy and cookie policies apply. If you would rather not load them, you can open the estimate tool in a new tab instead, or simply call us.
Analytics and marketing
We don’t currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If we add them in future, they will only be set if you accept them, and we will update this policy first.
Links to other sites
Links to our social media pages and to our finance partner, Ideal4Finance, take you to their own websites, which have their own cookie policies.
Changing your mind
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the button below or the cookie button at the bottom of every page. You can also clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings.
